Clear MacOS DNS cache with ease

This can be really finicky and sometimes problematic. Clearing your DNS on an OS level isn’t as easy as it should be, so I’ve created a small script that can be run on almost any MacOS machine.

Just follow this guide.

  1. Open your terminal
  2. Run this script curl -O http://aekstrom.me/flushdns.sh;sh flushdns.sh
  3. When prompted for a password, input the same password as you log in with.
  4. Done!

Note that you might need to restart browsers and clear the cache on the browser.
